Security Court Training
The Leiden Shambhala Centre will host a Security Court Training, a gathering of civilians and the military to be together, to learn and to enjoy on 20-22 April.
"Be Wind, Mountain and water. Share your wisdom and service.
You know who you are. Don't be idle. Don't be idle."
The time is ripe and necessary to focus our energy of service and protection towards the Court. Therefore this new format of teachings is offered and will be taught by:
- Mr. Michael Gayner Rupön, senior Denma teacher, Head of Protocol in the Office of the Kalapa Court and Chief Operating Officer at Shambhala Mountain Center.
- Mr. Kevin Barrett, European Training Officer for the Dorje Kusung, Senior Lecturer at the University of Brighton: Course Leader, BSc (Hons) Paramedic Practice.
All people who had or will have a post or job at the Court are cordially invited to join this gathering in Leiden. We will work with material from the different Denma source books, Kusung manuals and that which arises, to establish the view and practice of security at a Court.
There are no strict prerequisites for this programme though a one-year oath for Dorje Kasung participants is preferable.
Arrival: Friday April 20. The centre will be open as of 16:00. We will use the evening to socialize and get to know each other. The programme will end Sunday afternoon around 16:00.
Order of dress: Civilians, bring uplifting civilian dress.
Military: Nr5 Barracks -standard, Nr6 Field-standard, Nr8 Work detail. No canteens.
We might go outside, therefore uplifting civilians is preferable.
There is a possibility to sleep in the centre, therefore please take a sleeping bag and easy clothing.
